The Life Hack That Has Changed My Life for the Better and Can Change Yours, Too! 

Biohacking is Impactful and You've Probably Been Doing It For Years! 

Biohacking is the science of using Biology, Chemistry and Technology to maximize the function of your brain and body to optimize human performance.

Why is That Important?

Biohacking is important because it empowers individuals to optimize their own biology.  By merging technology and biology, biohackers explore methods to enhance physical and mental performance, improve health and extend longevity.  Through self-experimentation and personalized interventions, biohacking holds the potential to revolutionize healthcare, individual well-being and our understanding of human potential.

You've Probably Been Doing Some Form of Biohacking for Years

Do you own a Fitbit or track your steps on your Apple Watch?  Do you meditate or do Yoga or Pilates?  Do you measure your calories or macros?  Those are all forms of Biohacking, so I hope that de-energizes any possible negative connotations of the term for you and helps you realize that it's more common than you or I realized. 

Why am I Writing about this Now?

About four weeks ago I was invited to participate in a four-week course that was created and delivered by two brilliant women.  One is a Holistic Mental Health and Trauma Specialist and the other the Founder of the Human Longevity Institute.   The course, entitled "Circadian Flow". included pre and post assessments of health habits and preferences,  a series of brief content-rich videos each week and a workbook which supported the videos and provided action steps to absorb and optimize the content value.  Mid-week the two doctors provided a one-hour live training to discuss and reinforce the content and provide further context and encouragement for us to follow the program. 

The result of following the program by myself and my wife has been dramatic.  Our sleep has improved, I'm waking up with energy before my alarm rings, I've begun to shed fat and weight with a consistency I haven't experienced since I was much younger, and my ability to perform both physically and mentally has increased dramatically.  The addition of a few suggested (and optional) supplements and employment of a technology that are designed to work synergistically with the program and each other (the chemistry part of the equation) has only enhanced the results.
